JK Photography
John L. Kelly started his freelance photography career in 1988. Inspired by the mountains his whole life, he was driven to capture the highest quality Mountain photography. Studying the works of esteemed photographers as Galen Rowell, and Chris Noble to name a few, John spent the last fifteen years refining his mountain skills and photography.
John's photographic endeavors have taken him to places as Alaska, New Zealand, Fiji, The islands of the Caribbean, Chile, Austria and Switzerland, Sweden and Norway, The Canadian Rockies, and all over the United States.
John has been a featured photographer for Times Mirror, Conde Nast Publications, and Playboy Publications. In addition, he is a regular contributor for Surfer Publications (Primedia), and Transworld Publications (AOL/Time Warner). John's photographs helped companies like Fila, Sony Music, Burton snowboards, Kemper Sports and Pepsi Co. achieve higher standards in their successful advertising campaigns.
